FIRST GLOBAL TIBETAN PROFESSIONALS SUMMIT-2010
A Mindful Tibetan; An Engaged Professional
Empowering the Vision [ENVISION] invites you to the 1st Global Tibetan Professionals Summit to be held in Dharamsala, India from September 6-8, 2010.
The Summit aims to bring together Tibetans worldwide representing diverse professional fields. The three-day Summit will provide a platform for Tibetan professionals to meet, interact and work together on a common vision. The key objective of the Summit is to come up with an action plan whereby the Tibetan diaspora professionals are able to make personal commitments to use their knowledge and energies to serve the Tibetan people.
We will analyze issues and challenges, discuss solutions and make personal commitments over the three days. We will use this opportunity get to know each other, develop friendship and to build a strong network of Tibetan professionals to serve our nation. To ensure free and uninhibited exchange of ideas, the conference will be held in simulcast Tibetan and English language.
The success of the Summit will depend on your participation. We look forward to seeing you in Dharamsala in September for the 1st Global Tibetan Professionals Summit.
His Holiness the Dalai Lama has kindly consented to meet with Summit participants in a special audience on September 7.
We will arrange for all your needs including accommodation from September 5th to 8th. You will be expected to make your own transportation arrangement to Dharamsala. While we are not assessing any fees to attend the conference, we will have a small registration fee.
